On behalf of our searching families across the country, we would like to extend our deepest thanks to everyone who supporter our Candlelight Gala which was held on Thursday, May 27th, 2010 at the Fairmont Palliser Hotel in Calgary, Alberta.
We are thrilled to announce that this year's gala succeeded in raising over $55,000! It was an emotional evening, and we were honoured to be able to connect with so many wonderful attendees, volunteers, donors and sponsors.

About our Candlelight Gala
The annual fundraiser, which takes place in the Fairmont Palliser’s luxurious Crystal Ballroom, has raised nearly $500,000 since its first year in 2004. These funds support MCSC’s mission to continue the active and ongoing search for missing children.
Our hands-on approach distinguishes us from other organizations with similar mandates. Our professional investigators have closed 1,600 cases since 1986–that’s an average of 70 a year–and have assisted law enforcement in over 6,000 cases. The Candlelight Gala helps us continue this important work.
Attendees include prominent figures from the business community of Calgary and Southern Alberta, political figures and celebrities, professionals working in fields related to cases of child abduction, families touched by our mission, and many other individuals who value the work MCSC does.
