Investigative Programs

Project: Reunite
Since 1986 the Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC) has operated a comprehensive search program called Project: Reunite to assist police and searching parents in the active and ongoing search for abducted and runaway children. Through Project: Reunite, MCSC has assisted police in closing over 6,000 missing children cases and continues to help over 300 families each year.

Missing Children Directory
The
Missing Children Directory contains images of missing children as well as information about each case.

Education and Awareness Programs

Light the Way Home
Every year MCSC runs its Light the Way Home campaign in conjunction with National Missing Children’s day (May 25).  Light a candle on the evening of May 25, National Missing Children’s Day, to help light the way home for missing children.

Events
MCSC currently conducts three annual awareness and fundraising events in support of our investigative programs:
an annual Gala event and an annual golf tournament in Calgary, AB, and a Candlelight Walk for Missing Children in Burnaby, BC. MCSC also regularly participates in partnership events throughout the country.
