Critical partnerships with Microsoft and Esri Canada have given the Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC) a digital tool to help police and the public become allies in the search for a missing child.

Microsoft Azure and AI tools were combined with Esri's ArcGIS Hub technology in the development of MCSC’s Child Search Network (CSN), a national system designed to meet the gap of response for high-risk missing children cases that do not meet the Amber Alert threshold.

The public can join the search through the MCSC Rescu app available in Google Play and the App Store. It's a critical component of MCSC's Child Search Network, which has been endorsed by the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police and the RCMP.

Thanks to the innovation and generosity of Microsoft and Esri Canada, MCSC can help police use technology to take a digital poster about a missing child and reach more than a million virtual telephone poles in less than five minutes.

And every minute can mean a lifetime for missing children.
