Edmonton is now using missing children app

In February 2021, the Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police endorsed the Missing Children Society of Canada (MCSC) “rescu” app as an addition to the national strategy for missing children.

The EPS is adopting the MCSC's Child Search Network, a national system designed to share information about high-risk missing children cases that do not meet the criteria for the AMBER Alert.
