Services include secure emergency shelter, meals, showers, family support, referrals, and follow-up support. For youth under 17, the shelter collaborates with the Yukon government’s on-call social workers. Additionally, the facility offers culturally specific support, mental health resources, and harm reduction services.

Okalik Youth Shelter - Arctic Children and Youth Foundation (ACYF) (Nunavut)

  • Services: The Okalik Youth Shelter, overseen by the Arctic Children and Youth Foundation, provides critical support to Inuit youth in Nunavut.
